Coral Gables, established as a planned community in 1921, is Miami-Dade's best well-rounded community. The city is home to more than 150 multinational corporations and is known as the Corporate Capital of the Americas.

Coral Gables is also one of South Florida's primary cultural centers; there are currently 44 art galleries and 28 theater/dance groups located within the city. Local sporting enthusiasts enjoy three golf courses, extensive tennis facilities, and the Venetian Pool, a spring-fed 820,000 gallon swimming pool surrounded by caves, waterfalls, and grottos. Coral Gables is also home to the University of Miami and the world renowned Biltmore Hotel.

Cultural and sporting activities are numerous and restaurants of every flavor are only minutes away from the residential neighborhoods. Medical services are abundant; the city is served by three hospitals and one nursing home. Professional jobs are plentiful; the city houses numerous legal, financial, architectural, engineering, and accounting firms. Coral Gables is the perfect city for the up-and-coming professional who wants to live, work, and shop in one location.
